Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program
Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program "HPREP" is an outreach program designed to provide high school students with the opportunity to interact with medical students, faculty and health professionals. HPREP is sponsored by the UNC School of Medicine Chapter of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), and meets on nine Saturadays. Click here.
Summer Public Health Symposium
The Summer Public Health Symposium is designed to expose high school students to the field of public health while also enabling students to explore individual leadership styles. All North Carolina high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply. Click here.
Health Careers Day on the Hill
A series of presentations by representatives from UNC health professions schools and the UNC admissions office expose high school students to various health career and college preparation information. This occurs in the fall and in the spring.
Health Professions Forum (HPF)
HPFs provide high school students with information about the career opportunities within the health care field and about the various health professions programs available at NC colleges and universities.
Inspirational Speakers in Science (ISIS) Lecture
Prominent minority health professionals and scientists share their personal stories of how they overcame hardships and obstacles while pursuing their educational and professional goals.

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy proudly presents its Leadership, Excellence, and Development (LEAD) Program. This is a one-day professional development program in February for those seeking to learn more about the dynamic career opportunities in the field of pharmacy.
