Gene Expression: DNA Talks!
Okay, DNA doesn't really talk. However, DNA is an incredibly powerful molecule. It encodes the instructions for all living things. We are each unique due to slight differences in our DNA. This unit will explore the structure of DNA, the processes which change DNA into living matter (transcription and translation), what happens when errors are introduced (mutations), and the effect our environment can have on gene expression.
Modules explaining key experiments, with video, animation, and problem sets.
