Unit 3: All Sorts of Cells
Cells are the foundation for all life forms. Birth, growth, development, death, and all life functions begin as cellular processes. Understanding the structure and the functions of the prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells will allow students gain an understanding as to why they play an important role in our everyday lives.
Essential Questions:
Essential Questions:
- Why are bacteria and viruses important to humans?
- How do cells allow life to occur?
- In what ways are prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells similar, and different?
